Marriage affidavits for I-130 interview

Hi, I’m an LPR. I filed I-130 for my wife on January 26, 2005 at Vermont service center. The case was transferred to Baltimore District office on October 8, 2005. I’ve received a notice for interview on August 4, 2006. The list of the documents says that I have to take affidavits from at least three people attesting our marriage. It also says “The affidavits should be detailed and informative, not general statements”. Does any one know how detailed and what kind of information they are looking for? Does any one have a format for these affidavits? Please let me know. And is it normal to have interview for I-130? I’m not a citizen and I haven’t filed I-485.

Thank you
for your response.

How come you already got an interview letter for your wife so soon while you're still an LPR. I heard getting GC as a spouse of LPR (who is not a US citizen yet) takes forever. But once you become a citizen, the application is upgraded and the case is processed faster.

I am still an LPR and filed for my husband's I-130 2 years back. I got a letter that the I-130 application is approved but no news after that as i have to wait for the dates to be current to file for his I-1485 papers etc. Did you file for I-485 for your wife?

Well I’m confused too. I haven’t filed I-485 yet. Can’t do that, not a citizen. I-130 was not approved either. May be they want make sure our marriage is not a sham or some thing before they approve I-130. I heard that they are not approving I-130s until visa numbers are available. Why they called me for interview? I have no clue.
