Marriage abroad - Green card holder

Hi there,

I am a green card holder living in the United States and I just got married in Italy - my wife is Italian. I already came back to the US and I am not sure whether I have to register my marriage over here.
The Italian town hall where my marriage took place issued, along with the marriage certificate, an hand-filled in form which they says has validity abroad.

Can you please advise me on the required procedure for me to follow?

All Marriages performed abroad that are registered with a Civil Authority or a Registrar are considered a legal binding in US also, no need of getting it registered here.
