Hello everyone,
I am a GC holder and filed a I130 for my husband which has been approved and has a priority date of Feb2005 from Vermonet service center. Is there a possibility of we now applying through DORA because when we read the eligibility requirements, there dont seem to be anything making us not eligible. We currently reside in NJ and dont have a problem finding a job in dallas and moving there , if it means expediting the GC process. PLease advice.

USCIS is committed to improving customer service while strengthening the integrity of the adjudicative process. In conjunction with this goal, the Dallas District Office is conducting a Pilot Program designed to improve our ability to concurrently process two forms within 90 days of filing:
* Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and
* Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

So i assume you are not eligible to file only I-485 based on an already approved I-130. You may want to confirm this by calling USCIS.

my bad. I missed the part where she mentioned she was a LPR.

swp341; Only USC can file I-130 and I-485 concurrently, so DORA is not applicable to you.

Even if you were a USC and you are applying for I-485 based on an already approved I-130, you would still not be applicable for DORA as you have to file I-130 and I-485 concurrently for DORA.

Thanks ari4U and madhuri_dhar for your quick replies. I guess that door is closed for us then :(
