I have just had my LC approved (EB2) and hopefully my PD is current - born in Nigeria.
We're about to file I-140/I-485 concurrently.
My fiance is a UK citizen and resident there. I would like to add her in my application and so plan on marraige very soon.
1) Now, i know the H4 route would be the best, but she will not be able to join me in the US this year. Any ideas on how long "Follow to join" takes place: in this particular case, she'll be applying @ US embassy london?
2) Just a thought, after our marraige, if i apply for an H4 for her, can she come to the US and she apply for I-485 and then go back or does she have to be resident in the US on an H4 while waiting for I-485 to be processed?
3) With the visa waiver prog (VWP), can we get married while she's visiting the US - marraige between H1B and VWP - are there any issues? I know UK has a special visa i have to apply for to get married there.
