marraige after 485

This posting is for a friend of mine. So are there any visas available to bring your spouse to the US immediately after he gets married (assuming his 485 is approved before he is married) other than H1B? He does not care if she can work or not - but wants to bring her. What are the options? Thanks folks

as a dependent , i think she has to wait long time, many years(family based first preference immigratn visa)
 as independent , she can come on F1 visa(student), H1-B(wok permit), or on B1 /B2 for a short time only.
 once 485 is approved it is extremely tough.
