Margin on photo

One of the requirements I read on the old requirements says

"Your photographs should be the
same size as the sample below. Be
sure there is enough white space
in the margin of the photographs
so you will have room to sign
your full name if your application
is approved. "

This particular requirement could not have changed although other photo requirements have changed since Aug 1st.
So how much margin is "enough room". Should I ask the photographer for an extra large margin so that it could be trimmed later depending on what CIS needs? What did you guys do?

Mahesh

PS: As you can tell I am paranoid about the application requirements but then I do not want to deal with the CIS for one extra time I can avoid.

foto size remains same, angle has changed. there is a standard size for fotos. i think its 2"x2"

Thanks, but Rahul, did they make you sign on the margins on the photo as they have said?

Thanks User Name, I had seen that link that you posted.

yes, the interviewer asked me to sign on the margins and in the back of the pics.
she said not to worry if my name does not fit :)
i was also worried about the margins when i was in the photo shop, but they have standard requirements in all the shops that deal with citizenship/passport photos. i brought in the print out off the ins web with me to the shop, and they looked at it and the pics came out fine.
