March2002 case transfered

I made a case inquiry on Sep 30 and got a letter said my case has been transfered to the local office on May 04. Online message never changed since last RFE was recieved on Mar 04.
My question is:

Do you receive a letter from local office to tell you that your case was received or not?
What is the date they base on for the interview schedule? Our original I 485 RD or the transferred date. I see our local office processing time is Feb 04. Is that related to my transfer date May 04?

Thank you for your concern. I just found out the address they sent is different with the sub office shown online. I wish my case was not lost.
