March cases

I called IIO yesterday and was told that on Nov 30th\'01 my case
was put in the "adjudicators pipe-line". This would mean that VSC
is looking at March cases. My ND is 03/30/01.
Unfortunately, my 140 was for CP even though I didnot ask for CP
and I opted for AOS. The IIO told me that INS may have to get the
file from "sources outside INS" which probably means NVC.

Point of Clarification

Baba Yaga,

AVM still says Case not found ..However my wife talked to IIO and her message says Case received on blah blah .. what do you infer from this ..Does AVM message change indicate any sign at all?
For my EAD & AP AVM still says Case not found .. But I got them both approved 6 months ago ..
Your inputs are appreciated

Thanks,

Scheduled for Interview

I called IIO on friday and found that my case is process and called again on Monday and heard message that I will be interviewed. Date and time will be send by local office in NJ. If any body else in this boat pl. respond.

s_patel9,
I think what IIO said holds more precedence over what the AVM says.
They may have forgotten to change your AVM.
BTW what is your ND/RD?

On your I-140 notice it will clearly say
This petition was approved and the person is inthe US and apply for AOS. - this will be for AOS
If it is for CP then it will say the petition was sent to NVC or something .. This I am not sure
Any body correct me if I am wrong ..

Hi

I have the similar PD 03/08/00 and my RD is 03/02 and ND is 03/12 .
EAC : 01-123-#####.

Looks like they are approving based on PD\'s once they pick the files up. This is my observation.

My AVM has always been "Case was recieved on ...."

My case has been approved.

Just before I check the AVM and I heard the good news. I am so happy.
My case info:
RD:3/2/01
ND:3/14/01
FP:8/14/01
EB2
China
Maryland

CP /AOS

I have the same problem too. call the AVM at 603 334 0700 or call the IIo bet 800 and 345 pm to get more info.you should have I-140 receipt # ready when you call them.
Hope this helps
