Even I am not active person on this board(I visit only once in 6 months), I would like share the following information, I hope it may help …...
I started my Greencard in beginning 1996
Priority date: 05/18/96
Labor approved: 11/21/96
I-140 approved: 03/12/97
Then restarted my Greencard with same priority date
Labor approved: 09/18/1999
I-140 approved:09/26/2000
I-485 approved: 01/09/2002
Receipt number: EAC01118XXXXXXXX
You may think why it was like that, there was a long story(there was nothing wrong with INS process, no problem on my side).
Any how we need thank Rajiv Khanna providing this site for everyone FREE.
The reason I mentioned FREE, when I restart my Greencard, I have spoken with one of the lawyer and paid $180 dollars for 1 hour 30 mins talk. By end of that conversation, it was nothing, it is waste. My question is: Can I use same priory date? For this I paid $ 180 dollars.
But I have been watching 100 questions like priority date ….., everyone is getting with proper answer within 30 mins from this site.
