Why did it take so long ? Was your case complicated ? I have had a series of bad lucks and hence was wondering if u were in the same boat.

No, my case was not complicate by any stretch of the imagination!
Straight EB-3, working for a local government, straight RIR, no RFE, and on top of it all, I am Canadian!
I heard that they had sent my case to Central Booking where they keep all the approved case... I honestly think that my inquiry through the Congresswoman's office is what made them find it.
