HI GUYS
MY CASE WAS TRANSFERRED TO ATLANTA FROM TEXAS ON 4/20/04. I CHANGED MY EMPLOYER AFETR 1 YEAR OF FILING 485. DID NOT FILE AC 21. I DONT HAVE ANY LAWYER AT THIS TIME.
ANY SUGGESTIONS AT THIS TME WIL BE APPRECIATED.

SHOULD I HIRE A LAWYER AT THIS TIME?
SHOULD I FILE AC 21 NOW?
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET AN INTERVIEW SCHEDULED?

My case was also transferred on feb 20 to the dallas office. It is anybody's guess how long they will take to adjudicate.
My transfer notice clearly said that they have transferred it to conduct an interview.
If your does not say so..then you can just wait and see what happens. They might just approve your case and send you the approval..if it is a straight forward case.
If they ask you to come for an interview, then I would suggest you take a lawyer.
Re AC21, it is your call. Most of the people I know have not filed it and have got their GC approved. If they need any verificatin, they will send you an RFE.
So in essence, if I were you, I would just wait and see......

the online status says that...

the file was transferred to atlanta office for interview to be conducted. these lawyers are just good for nothing. they just keep asking for more payments. :(

NDINIDIA,

Atlanta is worst in processing. To tell you the truth, TSC is much better than Atlanta.

A year ago, they were processing May 2001 cases, then moved to July 09, 2001 after 6 months and remained there for six months. 1 week ago they MOVED BACK to April 01. Can you believe this? At this rate only God can tell you when your turn will come.
