can you tell me what kind of information you got from local office?

If we can get information from local office, then ppl have been waiting for a long time can go there and ask about the case status rather than calling the 1800 number.

I will give my example. On June 4th weekend my house was burgalarized and I lost all 485 documentation including EAD cards etc.,

So I went to local office given them my reciept EAC number and explained my problem. They given my EAD numbers and A# numbers etc., Also told me that I got RFE. But they don't have access to see what is my RFE about.

I strongly feel they will tell you exactly what is your status.

So you're the indian guy lost documents to thieves? Did you find out who stole your stuff? I have a hunch it's someone you know.
At that time, did you get RFE?

The local office told you you got RFE before you saw it online or after the online has been updated?
