Hi All,

Thought this might help folks who are doing/have done their FP.

I did my 2nd FP on 9/17/2003. The ASC recorded it manually on card, as opposed to electronically using computers.

Today, I called the FBI at 304-625-5590 to check on the status. The rep told me that, "manually fp takes a little longer to reach them. about 10 days after manual FP was recorded". so she asked me call back end of next week.

Reading from the other posts, electronic FP is reviewed by FBI and sent back to BCIS in about 2-3 days.

Hope this helps!

From my exerience:

I had electronic fingerprinting and the result was back in 3 days, my wife had manual, on card and her FP took 20 days to clear.

Pleasent Surprise...

I called FBI again today to get the status of my 2nd FP review. I chose option #2 (if you are a private individuval), but finally it asked me to contact BCIS to get the FP status. I hang up, dialed again, but chose option #3 this time (which went to a FBI rep).

He got my A# and name and to my surprise said that "our FP results were verified and sent to BCIS on Sep 20, 2003". Please note that our FP was recorded MANUALLY at the Van Nuys CA ASC on Sep 17 2003.

This shows that even manual FPs reach BCIS within 2-3 days of recording (as opposed to earlier predications of 20 days, as though this is going to change the outcome of GC processing... :( )

Thought of sharing this, as it might help somebody or feed some hope to the awaiting

My case is an early FP (originally scheduled for 10/08/2003). My RD is Feb-22-2003, ND is March-19-2003.
