Manual Fingerprinting --- Anyone Experience this?

Hi All,

I had a manual fingerprinting (on paper as compared to on computer) done in Newark. The details of finger print completed has not been updated in the online status ..... its been 3 weeks since i completed finger printing


has anyone experienced this before? when will the status be changed in case of manual fingerprinting ? any help or pointers appreciated....

Hi,

I read your posting and thought it's worth mentioning that I too had manual FP due to the fact that there was a powercut to the INS center. To date, my online status has not been updated, but after checking with FBI few days later and directly with VSC, I got confirmation that my FP was received.

So chill out, yours is still in the offing!

Manual FP!

I had manual FP where as my other family members had computerised!! From technician I came to know that they have less machines than needed and to expedite the process they are using manual process too! MY online status got updated in 18 days. Just trust the system and have patience....Very important for peace of mind!!
