You should not have even talked to your attorney to begin with.
As the previous users have indicated that your attorney is just trying to squeeze some bucks out of you.

Go directly to your boss or HR and ask for a letter that suggests you're still doing the same job with a little /without any emphasis on your new job title. Then, pass it to your attorney; I bet he won't say no shit

Thanks. I know the attorney is not right. But what he says that in the RFE they had requested for my title and if he mentions my title as manager there is going to be an issue. He says that he cannot go without mentioning my title.
