As we're counting down for this month visa bulletin, I starting to get concern about my DS-230 application that I submitted couple of months ago. I found 2 mistakes on it. I'm not sure if I should send a new updated DS-230 or just leave it. The mistakes are not major, but it bothers me. Here are what I did wrong:
Father Current Address:
I put the same address for my father and mother even though my parents are not living together anymore. I put the address where my parents used to live together before they are separated. If I would change this, I would only need to change my father address because my Mother stayed on the same address while my father live in another place.
Place the I lived for at least 6 months since reaching age 16:
I only lived in my home country for 4 and 1/2 months after reaching age 16 before I went to the U.S. In the DS-230, I put both the U.S and my home country in the list, and I listed the date how long I lived in my home county after I reached 16 and also the time I started living in the U.S until present time. If I would change this, I would omit my home country from the list.
Can I ask people opinion about this? I'm debating myself if I should sent an updated DS-230 to KCC or I should just leave it alone. I want to think that this are minor details that are not matter but on the other hand, I'm affraid that this will cause me problem during the interview.
Anyone experienced an interview even after making changes to their DS-230? On the interview, do they asked why you made the changes?
Any suggestion? Thanks in advance
