Make a small mistake on N-400. Have a Question?

Hi,

I have already sent out my N-400 and have been finger printed. I just noticed a small error on my N-400. Under Section 11 (Your signature), I signed and dated the form. However, according to instructions I was supposed to sign WITHOUT using abbreviations or initials. Basically the instructions are are asking for a full signature. But on my N-400 form I signed as I normally do on my checks etc. It is legible and people can make out my name but it is abbreviated and not the full signature.

Can this cause the form to be returned or other problems?
Can I fix this during the interview?

I know have to sign on Section 13 and Section 14 at the time of the Interview. The N-400 clearly states that for Section 13 and Section 14 the Complete signature is needed.

What should I do? Since Section 11 signature will Not match with Section 13 and Section 14 signatures?

Any help appreciated.

Reading your post reminded me that I did the same thing and signed with my regualr signature. I have my interview on 01/12/07. I dont know it will cause a probelm or not. Is it possible to correct it at interview?

I wouldn't worry about it. You will be asked to sign the form (again) using your full name during the interview. No big deal...
