I already have my H1b approved for Oct 2007. I'm now on F-1 status taking a Certificate program since Spring 2007. My question is do I also need to be enrolled full-time during summer quarter? The school international advisor says that an F-1 student is eligible to take a summer vacation only if the student has been enrolled for 3 quarters full time. The problem is there're not many classes available in the summer, unless if I take classes that are not related to my program at all. Should I register full-time this summer? or where can I find a written statement saying that it must have been enrolled for 3 quarters full time before taking a summer vacation?
