If you are facing a selection of CP or 485, be careful. I would reommand not to chose CP in Montreal, but select 485 instead. You can file 140/485/EAD concurrently, then you will not warry about the job/company change after 180 days. (I wish that I got this information when I was facing decision)
For folks already in the same boat with me - CP in Montreal, but pending with Adaministrative process - please share information.

PD: 2/2002
LCA approved 8/2003
140 approved: 2/2004
Administrative process pending in NVC since 8/2004
