All, i am stuck in a peculiar situation. Had applied for H1-B ext and the Online website says, my application was approved on the 24th June by VSC and mailed that day. Neither my lawyer nor me has received the notice yet. But status online, says it is approved on 24th June. Has anyone been in this situation before. I had planned to go to canada to get my visa stamped and i have that appoitnment for the 16th Aug. Laywer says she has requested a duplicate today that is 13th July.
Do you guys think there is enough time to receive the duplicate or is anyone aware how long does it take usually to receive the duplicate or is there any other route tot ake like going to a local BCIS office or somehting?..Anyone here, throw me some ideas please.
