Mailing Forms to Chicgo Lockbox via UPS

Rather than sending the documents thorugh US mail (with return receipt and signature requirement), can I send the documents though UPS? I have access to very good UPS rate for next day delivery. UPS tracking number should be as good as returnt recipt. Your comments is appreciated.

Yes you could. Make sure you send it to the correct address.

For non-U.S. Postal Service (USPS) deliveries (e.g. private couriers)

I've used US Postal Service:

Priority Mail, 2 days delivery, tracking number with email confirmation of delivery, cost: $4.05/ 1lb. envelope.

Finally, we r about to file AOS package in 10 days from now. Just waiting to take OATH and then copy the certificate and mail the package. Planning to send it through FEDEX Same day/overnigt delivery to

LIke anyone else we do not want to receive a RFE. We have sealed medical result . Also we r filing both I864 & I864A though I864 income is sufficent but just incase adding my spouse's income as well. We have W2'S recent payslip copies...Copy of my spouse's birthcerticate , wedding certificate..

Ari4u & others, I am all set right ? I have verfied the check list. But just incase do you have any final tips ? Am I missing anything ?

If there is a RFE for AOS package, how much time do they give to respond to RFE? Hopefully, at least 2-3 months?

Does my wife get immediate status once we receive a Receipt Notice for I-485? If yes, then she would not need to maintain her other status?

Does FP process get delayed due to RFE?

They will give you 87 days to respond.
Yes, the receipt notice will give her a legal status right away. Not sure if she should still maintain her other status, but I shouldn't think so.

Again not sure what an RFE really effects. I got one for I-485 and it looks like it rather delayed my I-765 more than the I-485! By FP process you probably mean name check/FBI background check. I really don't know if it effects that.

I guess I will find out at the interview!

my lawyer used dhl and finally after 3 times (2x by us postal) we got accepted :) I am so excited Good luck
 
Your statement really scared me. I hope your lawyer is not pulling your leg. Most people on this board used regular U.S. mail and they got there forms in just fine. Even though I said I will send via UPS, I actually sent it via Express mail on Saturday and the item was picked us by someone named S SANDOVAL at 1:21 PM this afternoon. Only thing that could go wrong now if he/she throws my package away!!
 
Sandoval, I remember that name too from the time I sent it by Express Mail via USPS. I think you should be fine and getting the NOAs soon. Good luck!
