mailing date 10/3, not yet received receipts

Hi,
My lawyer says he mailed the package on 10/3 and did not receive any info from INS.
I am very much concerned as almost all october first week mailers got their receipts.Please advice what to do.
I sent money orders(that is the big mistake i did). Is there any way to track those.
