Hey all,

For those who have mailed in extensions, how long did it take the USCIS to:

1) cash your check
2) send you a receipt notice
3) approve your case

also, when did you mail it in and when did you finally get all deliverables? And did you send it into the VSC or somewhere else?

Is there anyone who sent in the mail-in extension WITHOUT tracking on the delivery?

My company failed to put tracking on delivery of the extension application and so I am trying to see if there is a way to determine that they got it.

My current status expires on May 27th and I cannot travel to re-enter before that.

My lawyer filled mail-in renwal in early march and few weeks back he got letter to provide copies of my education.

It takes about 2-3 weeks, not sure about check cash, they sent reciept in 2-3 weeks.

make sure you provide copies of your educational document.

Update:

Extension application was mailed in to VSC on May 7th.

Receipt Notice was received today in the mail.

Date on the Receipt notice is May 14th.

Seems to take about a week to get there and be received then another 2 to get entered and sent back. Based on their processing times I am expecting the approval at about the end of June or start of July
