Mail from Lincoln NE..., not a Discover Credit Card

Can Approval Letter be forwarded to a new address by USPS???

For the above question, most of us would reply "NO."

I would say "Yes", from the latest mail we recieved from BCIS. My wife and I recieved our EAD renewals. The envelope does not contain the organization name anywhere on the envelpe outside. It just looks plain as

Lincoln. NE 68501-2521

I picked up the mail while mail man was still dropping of his last mail for the day. I showed the mail and asked him what is the possibility of such a mail getting forwarded, if a prior forwarding request was submitted to USPS. The answer was, 100% the letter could be forwarded since the envelope does not mention "not to forward" and/or does not say the organization name.

My AP and EAD receipt notices were bounced back to Lincoln by USPS. INS, however, put a sticker with my new address to the receipt taken from the yellow USPS. The approved AP and EAD came to my new address in CA automatically.

Me too, My EAD was forwarded to my new address by US mail.
