Last week, I and my wife got a notice for our 2nd fingerprint (FP2).

For your information, we have moved from Kentucky to Minnesota in Oct. 2004. Filed AR11 and changed our address.
But, in the notice, we have been told to appear in KY for the FP2.

A few minutes back, we got magic emails saying

"On July 12, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued......................................"

What that means? Help.

A member from this forum EB3mar2001 got that exact email/message change. We all speculated about RFE, FPs, address change etc. Thank God indeed was an approval. He got his approval notice today. read his thread, and ask him about the message.
 
I am in a the same boat.
I recieved 2nd FP notice dated 6/21 mailed to my previous address altough i have updated my address at the 800# and USPS actualy rerouted it to my new address.
Now on 7/12 i got emails saying "Document made on the basis of Approval/regestration of this case has been mailed to you directly on 7/11..."

I called the 800# today and the was told that my case has been approved and card mailed and also i should disregard the 2nd FP notice. She also confirmed that they have my correct address.

I am having hard time believing it for two reasons
1. I am EB3
2. I did not do Biomettrics so how can they prepare the card.

I think the USCIS reps who answer the phone are not very knowelegable.

But it would be interesting to know what it turns to be RFE,FP or something else.
I will keep you guys posted.
 
OH NO Masood...I would be so anxius if I were in your shoes. I really hope is an approval. Pray hard and keep the faith. I don't think that after email and phone call answer it wouldn't be an approval.
Call again tomorrow and see what you get!!!
Congratulations. Miracles can happen you know. I hope I can get the same miracle soon too.

I got the exact same message as well. I called uscis and they told me the cards have been mailed. I checked with my lawyer he did not get any thing in the mail yet. I did finish both fingerprinting and medicals.

I waiting to see what I get in mail.

I have not contacted the NCSC. They are simply B''''t. I always got confused whenever I talk to them.

Please keep on posting how all the events progressed in the coming days.
Then only we will know what is going on.
 
I-140 approval date Feb16,2005
LUD 06/01/1005(no change on the online message)
I 485- filing date dec 11,2003
LUD i-485- June 20,2005(notice reads approved)
 
Very important question for masood_55

Just to determine the logic,

1) on or before 06/30 was there any LUD change in your case.
2) did any of the LUD change had any message change.

I am asking you b'coz lot of us gt LUD with no msg chng on last week of June .

Someone was suggesting that They might be reserved the VISA numbers for those cases.

So in order to make these conclusions , can you please answer .

No LUD change before June 30.
Got 2nd FP notice dated 6/21 but no LUD change.
Got 2 emails with the message " on 7/11 the document made on the basis of approval/regestration....' and LUD changed on 7/12 to same message.
No change for my wife and kids (last LUD is 10/24/04).

I am not raising my hopes too much and will wait for the letter and will let you guys/girls know.
 
Looks like we are all in the same boat. I have been reading the forums with regards to this message so far I have come across six cases two are RFE's , three I485 approval and one direct green card.

Uscis is using the same message for different statuses on the case..it is extremely frustrating Are there any other resources of finding out what this means? calling uscis is getting us no where.. :confused: :confused:

TSC told you the cards were mailed when? Have 2 weeks gone by and you did not receive anything? IF otherwise, I think give them another few days and if by Monday, you don't get anything CALL back! I hope you get your cards soon! I am currently waiting for mine too.

Where in Kentucky did you live? I live in Henderson, KY!
Wait till Saturday or Monday and see if you received something in the mail. You will most likely get an LUD and different message too! Watch for that. I have been getting LUDs frequently.

I am not exactly sure what message you got. The LUD messages that I was getting were clear: APPROVED, Card Ordered, Card Mailed.

I called TSC about my husband's case. We had applied the same time and up to the FP notices, we were receiving the same messages etc. They first told me that our cases were indeed seperated and a request (after my calling) will be sent to a supervisor. I called a couple of times again at different times and the agent did not have any news. She suggested that I call back and do a CASE REQUEST and not wait to speak to a TSC agent. I have not done that yet hoping that I will get a different message!

I have been turning in the paperwork all by myself. I have not had a lawyer. Do you have a lawyer?

When I received the approval email it said:

"Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On June 22, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

The next LUD/message said:

"On July 8, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

The next one said:

"On July 13, 2005, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service..."

I never received the message you did. Others in this forum have. You might want to search and learn from others what their experiences have been with messages like yours.
