Folks, I finally made an infopass appointment at my local office( Dallas) for April 27th. Allthough I ain't expecting a whole lot but I must try to get my passport stamped or atleast request them to set me up for a bio appointment soon what NSC saying they don't find it.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Just relax and don't panic when you talk to an officer. Meaning that dont have the attitude of "oh my god what should i do"...

Don't tell the truth. In other words, you dont have to lie but you need to twist your words enough. Tell them the 1800 number told you do this. Tell them that they said this and act dumb. Honestly the dorks at the mis-information line lie to us all the time and misinform us. Do what you think will get you your new bio.

If the officer says, Well wait for another 10 years..Tell them the great people on the 1800 line(by the way they are so helpful), they told me to make an infopass and they will schedule my bio....and say "Are they wrong?, i am confused?"....Or make an excuse as Nas said, Say, I have a wedding to attend in Canada and i called the info line and they told me that infopass people can get me my bio and also my temp card.

THe whole point is you need to act like a dumb immigrant. You can't act as if you know it all. When they didn't do my bio early, I went and acted dumb and made up things and I got my bio done earlier.

Best of luck. Just remember act dumb but make sure you make your points. With these government employees, they always have to "make the decision" so you cant tell them that they should do the BIO..if they tell u then only it works..

Best of luck.

Thanks Nasr & Want. I must remember both your suggestion & act like dumb who is willing to attend a wedding of a relative who resides in Canada & would like to drive down there. Also try to get the bio part taken care off if possible. I don't have RTD so will take my NP with me.
But folks, can local office set bio appointments?
