M interview next week, need your support guys

Hello guys I miss you all

My interview next week, and I am so scared

I prepared those documents:

1- Birth certificate me and my wife
2- police reports from two countries i lived in more than 6 months
3- letter from my company with my salary and the date I joined them with good recommendation
4- my BS degree in civil engineering
5- my wife BA in design
6- my bank account for the last year and I have more than 16000 $
7- 4 new photos, and the interview fees
8_ I never been in military and I don't have certificate about that, so I think I don't need this one
9_ my original marriage certificate and I applied as single and I get marry just one month after I register in the lottery, and I include my wife with me and I informed KCC about it
10_ medical done and I have the big brown sealed envelope
11- form I 134 but I will try not to use it


Do I have more documents? or is that enough to make it through because I am really worry

First of all , wish you all the best for your interview.

In addition you go with the following documents

Original marriage certificate
English translation of marriage certificate
English translation of birth certificates
Photocopies of all the documents

Don't be scared . My interview was just 2 minutes.

My interview was at 1.00 pm
Went to the embassy at 12 pm
Waited till 1.00 pm in the queue at the first gate outside the embassy premises
Security check at first gate at 1.05 pm
Security check at second gate at 1.10 pm
Waited at the consular section till 1.15 pm

At 1.15 asked us to hand over the appointment letters to counter 1
I was the first to hand over the apointment letter
At 1.20 pm called at counter 3 and asked for all the documents of myself and benificaries
Accepted only birth certificate with english translation , marriage certificate with english translation and sponsor letter.
Other documents such as bank statements, letter from the employer were returned bank.
And asked me to get ready the money
At 1.38 asked me to pay money.
At 1.45 finger prints were taken

At 1.50 asked me to come at the room no 5 and there was a US lady
Interview duration was just 2 minutes. Asked all of us to raise our right hands up. Asked whether the details entered in all the documents are true and correct. I said yes. ASked all of us to sign the forms. Then she said "Everything is fine and you can come on next thursday to collect the visa" and gave us the yellow colour letter.

be confident. you know you have everything that they need. so go for your interview with confidence!

leongsce my friend thanks always for your support brother, the only thing that scares me now that I get married just after one month of registration of dv lottery, that's mean I apply as a single, but when I get marry I didn't even know that I'll win this lottery, but actually update my status when they sent me the 1st Nl with KCC, and they include my wife name on the 2nd Nl, do you think this will cause me any troubles or delay in my visa? because this is the last month of lottery visa and I am really scared, but also I am well prepared with all my documents and I am full confident about myself and that I am ready and I am qualified for it, but you know it's just one chance I have

Hi firo1234,
I understand your fear, but do not worry. I got married a couple of weeks before I got NL1. Before my interview I prepared evidence of bona fide marriage, such as joint bank account, both names on health insurance policy card, photos at the party, etc, as many as possible, just in case the consul ask me to show some evidence of marriage. The consul did not ask me to show them, he just trusted marriage certificate. So, I would suggest to have some evidence of marriage in your bag and that's it! You'll make it soon.

firo bro,
the fact that they included your wife's name in the 2nl makes it better for you! make sure you bring along your legal marriage cert for the interview.
good luck and i know you will get your approval!
