1.please forgive my ignorance but what is LUD and how do u use it
2.my labor /RIR got sent to ATL dol in aug2004(curently processing 2003), i have finished 1.5 years of waiver job, i wanted opinion whether i shd reapply in PERM retaining my PD or continue with RIR hoping BEC acts and it can still before 3years of waiver is over and then apply for 140/485

If you are tracking your pending applications on the USCIS website using the 'portfolio' feature, it will give you a 'last update date'. Usually it is a date a couple of months past e.g. around your fingerprint date.
Some people here stare at that number and try to gain some sort of knowledge from it. At times, the LUD will change just prior to an RFE or approval beeing issued. No official meaning.

You might want to have your employer file a PERM application once it is clear what percentage of cases get held back for 'audits'. If it is 10% you have a good shot at getting your labor in a couple of months, if it is 90% (what many people anticipate), sticking with your old LC.

my online status has not been updated even when i got the FP done early dec2004 is it a cause of worry
