Dear all, my husband and i are in this weird situation, when he both has filed an approved 140-NIW and won the GC lottery. Our 485 had been pending without change for a while,and INFOPASS told us he is in FBI check.
Our interview for the the GC lottery was scheduled for Oct in Russia. We were planning to go there, but as a last resort filed an EXPEDITE with the VSC, saying that we would otherwise get a GC elsewhere and they won't be able to complete the case. That was on Tue. Today, all of a sudden, LUD (no message change). Has anyone received an LUD today? Can someone share how expedite requests are handled?should we hope to avoid the whole russia trip? Thanks
