LUD question !!! 485

Hi guys, gurus and respective moderator,

I have a question for you, recently i moved to another apartment, i did spoke to INS customer service rep for change of address (on friday), but LUD was not changed (whether it is commmon??). I had RFE on 140, my company responded back to INS on Friday, they might received on Monday. But LUD was not changed.

But today, i saw my 485 LUD changed to today's date, but my wife's 485 was not changed? I checked my email, i didn't receive any?? What is this mean?? Please respond.. I am in a confused state...

LUD mean nothing

I dont think you will see LUD change every time when you update something. My I-485 was never changed before I-485 approval. It is up to the USCIS officer who deales your case. If he is a nice one, he will update your LUD after he finished his process, but it is nomal he forget to update it.
 
I-485 Question

Hi,
Can any one help me.
I am applying I 485. I was given ticket in NY Penn Station for having Open Beer can. I attended Court, and Court asked me to attend a Conciling class about 'Social responsibilty' there only. IApart from this, Court didn't even Fine me. If I mention this in I485 Form, will it affect any way?

Please give me Answer.

The 485 LUD changed for you b'cos USCIS updated the new address on your file. You won't get mail from USCIS for that. Your wife has to call USCIS seperately, in order to update the new address on her I-485. She will also get LUD. Within a week or 10 days you both will receive the confirmation letter from USCIS.
