LUD changes, what does it really mean?

Hi, I just saw my LUD notice change today

"On May 9, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."

What does this really mean? Does this mean my I-485 green card application finally get approved after the long pending name check?

That is exactly what it means. Congratulations! :D
 
I'm still a bit unsure about the part "after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice". Does the green card arrive together in the welcome notice for you guys' cases, or it comes later?

FYI, I got interview way back in June 2006. Receipt date is July 11, 2006. Fingerprint- Biometric was done on August 2, 2006. And, ever since then, my case has been put on held due to FBI name check. LUDs changed several times, but only the dates, not the messages.

By the way, I applied thru DORA Dallas Pilot program, which promises to take up only 90 days....as a matter of fact, for my case, it turns out almost a year since the interview date!
 
Don't worry about the ADIT part. It refers to biometrics. You've passed that, god knows why they put that text in the email.

Most likely you'll get another email soon, saying "Card Production Ordered", after that you'll get "Approval notice sent", then a few days later your Green Card will show up in the mail.

It's going to come in the next 1-2 weeks. Most likely the Welcome Notice will show up seperately, but sometimes they come together.
