LUD Changed to 07/09/2004 for my case but it still has the old message about the first FP received and processing has resumed on my case.

Does this means they touched my case or this means nothing.

Hi GC_NC123

Hi,
Hope you get your approval soon. I saw that you got AP approved 3 times. I am applying it for the first time. Had a quick question: Do you need to send in a letter showing some emergency for AP approval?

Thanks.

Most of the time (about 75% chance) LUD change means some movement. But some times the result may not be known immediately. Hopefully your approval is on the way (within a week).
Good Luck.

If you are applying to VSC then there is a formal letter you need to send regarding which country you going to visit and aprox. what duration.
I didn't send that letter for first 2 AP's( not required that time) but for 3rd AP it’s mandatory now.

If you are applying AP in Local Field office then you need to show some Emergency on paper.

I think this answers your questions.
Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,
So if you send the letter to VSC (which I would be) - you don't need to show any emergency, correct? You just need to mention the country, time and duration of visit?

Thanks a lot

Thats what i did when i applied for my Ap in jan'04.
Still check with lawyer or gurus in here if Rules have changed since then.

why don't you open a "new thread" and Guru's will reply to that.

One of my friends apllied in local office. He said you don't need any emergaency. He got it in mail within one week. If you apply in INS, it takes months. He went to Baltimore in maryland. I asked him why he went to local. He said he should. I never apply AP myself. So check your local office website first.
