LUD changed on my 485 after 140 approval !!

I140 approved on 31 Jan 2005 (Notice says Feb 02 2005)
LUD changed on I140 to Feb 02 2005
Then
LUD changed on I140 and I485 both to Feb 03 2005

Am I expecting miracle here.....
 
Not to rain on your parade, but I wouldn't get too excited just yet. The adjudicating officer will work on your i-485 until it's time to assing you a visa number. At that time, since you are affected by retrogression, a visa number will not be available, so your I-485 will be put on hold until your date becomes current.

I'm guessing that this is what is happening with your application. The good news is that once your date becomes current, your I-485 will be processed very quickly.

How do you know these idiots at NSC are following all the rules correctly ?. I agree the fact i-485 will be approved as long as the PD is current. But I have seen a few approvals contrary to the above rule this year.

I am also in the same boat as both of you. My I-485 LUD keep changing every day w/o any change in my previous status(FP Received, etc) since my I-140 approval with LUD changed on 02/03/05. Pl. see my signtature for my details.
Let's hope for the best.
 
I got an RFE on my I-485. Don't know what it is about. No LUD on my I-140. Any guesses on what is happening here?

I-140, I-485 , Concurrently filed on : Dec 12, 2003.
 
Knowing NSC they might still approve your 485 even though the date is retrogressed but you will have to wait to get your passport stamped.
 
I'm not saying that NSC is following the new rules. I'm just saying that's how the i-485 is processed.

They check for Visa availability, and if one is not available they place your case in suspense in CLAIMS and they put your file in the visa hold shelf.

485 LUD changed and RFE issued

Hi Guys,

I am also in the same boat. Pls see my signature for details. Looks like there are more RFE's in dec '03 cases. Pls post here once you know what the RFE about.

Concurrent filling

Hello all,

I have a question with regard to the I-140 and I-485. A friend of mine did concurrent filing on Dec 8 2005. He is a canadian citizen, born in UAE. He completed his finger printing on Jan 10 2005. Does anybody have any idea/clue what is the estimated timeframe to hear the good news. Is is ok to call INS to check on the status. Is anybody else in the same position.

Any Information will be appreciated. thanks in advance.
 
I already entered all my case numbers on the web site. But, I don't see any LUDs (or even section or column for LUDs). Is it because mine is very new and they show up only some thing changes in my case?

LUD is the "Last Updated" column, which only shows if you register with an account and enter the #s in your portfolio.
