Hi all

When I checked my email on Saturday I got 10 emails from USCIS.
5 of them for my 485, 5 of them for EAD I applied in 2004.

My 485 status before email was something like this: We responded to the additional info you requested on so and so date, if you not received by 14 days contact us. (This status got changed when I did address change in 2005)

Now it says about my FP which I gave in 2003. I gave FP again some time in 2004 end.
On May 20, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

I am not sure why LUD got changed for 2004 EAD now, after that I applied EAD’s 2005 and then 2006.


I understand if LUD changed means, some one touched our file to update some thing, but I am wondering why 485 Status changed to my First FP message.


Any one got similar emails......

I got the similar email on saturday evening. My previous message for past one year was

On October 20, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

My PD is almost same like yours. I don't know what they are doing with the file when the dates are retrogressed and there are no hopes of getting it current for atleast 2 years.

Got the same emails

I got the same emails on last saturday. We have answered a query last october. We did got the conformation at that time. Dont know what uscis folks are doing. After talking to some experts I found out that they are in the process of keeping all the files togeather and adjudicate them as soon as the dates are out.

Let us hope for the best.....and also prepare in advance for the worst delays.

FYI ....My PD is May 2001.......keeping the finger crossed and seating tight on the USCIS Railway tracks :)- for the past one year.

No one can be expert for this stupidity unless he is one of them.
Probably it is just a virus in their windows computer.
 
Dear GaramChai,

I have posted what I have researched on. What I mean by experts is(Lawyers and other legal folks who have more information about the activities happening). I completely agree with you that no one knows what the F...they are doing to CTA's(Cover T_ _ _ _A _ _ ).

I guess saying stupidity is not the right word you can use to motivate the people who needs help.

LUD Update

Don't know what the fuss in USCIS is all about i got 3 mails Sat @ 3:15 PM. Some weekend program must have sent emails. Sent it on my 2005 EAD case
and updated my I-485 cases.

Probably trying to find out if we are all STILL ALIVE!!!! :rolleyes:
and waiting for the ETERNITY ie GC :eek:

This is message on my I-485.
Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on October 4, 2004. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.
 
hello

I am EB3 India with PD APR 30 2001. Currently they are processing APR 22 2001. I saw recently a change on mine and my spouse 485 application LUD after a long time. Does that imply something that case is in process or does it mean that i am going to get another FP notice....my 1st FP was in AUG 2005.

I wouldn't be too excited. Maybe they are updating their software and send e-mails in error. I've got no e-mails or LUD udpates recently. I attempt to check my online status and get the experience below since yesterday:

LUD on 11/02

same here, my and my wifes PD is May 25 2001.
we had LUD on 11/02 on both files.
I want to take it as some good news to come, lets see what happens.
This friday buletin should be out.
 
Hi Marlon2006,

I am getting the same servlet errors as you are having. It seems that they might have separate locations for the files that are going to be approved in next bulletin ;) (Just having some wishful thinking here) and they missed something in the script so we are getting the error while the folks who are going to get their approvals next bulletin are seeing updated LUDs. (again some good news for them !)

Hi....I had LUD on 11/02...same like yours....there are two scenarios i can think off...

1. I read in this forum that USCIS sends # of apps which are ready for approval to Depart of State and then they might be doing the calculations for next bulletin. If this is the case then i am keeping my fingers crossed....also wishing good luck u to.

2. I gave my finger prints in AUG 2005....as it expires after 1 year...i guess they might be sending another notice to do the finger prints....if thsi is the case then lets see when would see the light at end of tunnel....

What a coincidence my FP was was on Aug 8th 2005, hmm interesting as we both have have passed 15 months (therefore FP expired).
Also wouldn't they change the message saying"FP noticve has been mailed blah blah blah .."
But what I have heard is INS wil not touch file if PD is not current, and the they might realise FP is expired and then they issue FP notice. Therefore I don't think it has anything to do with our FP expiry, but then big question why that file was toched ? Well lets see what will happen it is not far, will come to know soon.

Yes. The case status web page has a bug.



Got replicated emails for my family barring my daughter for whom background/name check is still pending. Noticed that India EB3 cases with PD till Jul 2002 got emails and LUDs. Might be a bug/maintenance but I am hoping that it is not a bug. It can be some kind of statistical estimation :confused:

i never got any emails or stuffs from USCIS as other got....only change i noticed is LUD change on my and my spouse 485 application.....

I guess as mine and babyluck cases are very close...they are processing our case and hence change in LUD....also one of my friend said that he got hsi GC approved even when the dates were not current....
