LUD change/update

So I went for the adjusment interview on Jan31st. Like many people, at the very begining I was told that name check was not completed and hence nothing would happen today. The IO just verified the information on the 485 application and told me that I would hear from them. My LUD was updated on 1/31/06 but there were no changes on the message.

Anyway, I noticed that there was a LUD update/change on 3/6/06. However, when I try to check, the automated system shows that the receipt number cannot be found. I'm hoping that it's good news... hopefully atleast the name check is completed..

Any ideas???

Whats coincidental is that after reading the numerous posts on name checks, I emailed the FBI and also sent them a fax request asking for status on the name check. 3-4 days after I sent my requests.. my LUD was updated on 3/6.

Can you tell me which number you faxed it to for FBI ? and what did u write the matter.I am also waiting for my name check.Hopefully you have good news coming soon.Thank you
 
That happened to mine. As soon as it was "approved", it dissapeared and I got the same message. Took about 4 or 5 days to re-appear.
Dont worry, you card is being printed.
 
Approved!!

Today I got a new message in the luD system.. it says application approved and a new card ordered. I seemed to have skipped the approval notice and moved directly to card creation.. :D :D :D

The fax number I used was 202-324-3367. The email address for the FBI name check is fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov. All I wrote in the email and fax was that I wanted to check the status of my name check request. I included name, dob, country of birth, home address, home number, A# and USCIS petition #.
