Do Any One Of U Guys Have Idea About The Case Where They Check The Files But There Is No Change In Lud...
What I Mean Is That If There Is No Change In Lud , Can I Assume That They Are Not Looking Into My File...or Still They May Do Some Checks Without Change In Lud Itself...
Thanks In Advance For Your Replies...

You would think that the online status system is a reflection of the internal, CIS internal computer system. In fact it is not. It is entirely separate, the data LUD's and the like are entered by 'contractor worker bees'. This explains the at times bizarre and misleading messages the system will generate.

Changes or non-changes have no 1:1 relation to your case.

I disagree.
My I-140 LUD changed a day after the approval of my I-140.
My I-485 changed on August 12, 2004, about 6 weeks after I gave my FP2. Prior to that, my LUD dates back to my FP1, Feb 14th, 2003.
If anything, there is a link between your case and the LUD. At least, I certainly hope so.

If the LUD changes it means:
A. something happened with your file
B. nothing happened with your file

If the LUD doesn't change it means:
A. something happened with your file
B. nothing happened with your file

LUD changing and something happening to your case are pretty much independent variables. Sometimes they correlate, sometimes they don't. We all hope that one has to do with the other, but the relationship is at best murky.

LUD changes.

Mops,

Create a customer portfolio with your recept numbers, and when you log in to your account you will see the LUD for your case.

Hi Hadron,
Nevertheless: LUD stands for Last Update Date. An update is the latest entry in you case. It means thus that when you follow your case and you see an LUD change in relation to your last contact with BCIS, your last interaction has been recorded. My recent LUD change means, at least, that my FP2 results have been received 6 weeks after I submitetd a new set of FPs. It is a very important inofrmation in my case and I feel better knowing that such change has been recorded.
The logic I use to follow my case is at best as clear as I could be. The rest I have no power on it and thus I wait and hope for the best.
Wish you the best.
