LUD after Fingerprint

Your Lud got changed for some other reason ( may be to approve your EAD/AP or it could be mass update). See my signature and my lud got changed, and even no message update.
So wait for more days or a week or two. Definitely you will see your lud change on yar 485 as wells as message change. Good luck buddy.

LUD on I-485 is normal after the FP. Usually after FP people get 3-4 LUD's till the Message change saying something like "we received your FP.."
You are right....I just received an e-mail notification as follows:
On March 23, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Sit tight and watch for LUD change which will lead to your approval.
Sometimes, there may not be any LUD change prior to approval....

My RD is Jul 04 for 485 (EB3) but my labor was filed in Nov 02 so I think i have to wait. I was actually wondering if there is any other step after this. What is the FBI check etc? By this stage do they normally issue RFE if they have to?

Yes, RFE may come after this stage too. FBI name check can be initiated any time after you file your I-485. It may start before or after your FP. It is not transparant to us, I mean, we cannot see this procedure in the Online status. We might see only if it goes to a detailed review or something.
Just pray God for quick approval.
Since your PD is in Nov 2002, this may delay your approval by few months until your PD becomes current.
