LUD after EAD renewal?

Hi all;

LUD after FP.
no LUD after EAD renewal.

Can anyone has an idea why there's no activity on my case?

Do you think there should be a LUD after EAD renewal?

Needs your info.

I called them already last week and they don't want to say anything. They told me it is for my own protection. What is this for my own protection?

I renewed our EAD thru hard copies of all documents without my lawyer's assistance and save $150 each for 3 application.

I sent it to TSC where my I-485 is pending. No FP 2 notice yet.

I am curious if there must have a LUD, but nothing for all of us. Still the same updateafter FP 1.

I think I have to contact our congressman and asked their assistance.

Guys and Gals,

LUD changes are very unpredictable. Sometimes 485 LUDs change when one applies for APs or EADs but at other times nothing happens. So if you have applied for a AP or EAD recently and have not seen any LUD changes then do not worry. I have applied for 4 EADs and eachtime different things have happened. What is important is to get the Receipt Number (SRC #) from your attorney and track that on the online system. That LUD will change as and when an officer works on that specific app.

I never had an LUD for renewal of EAD or AP and I had 4 renewals of each total. I did not had an LUD for more than a year on my case (it was after RFE response) until the day me and my husband were approved. So it does not necessarily mean that they are not working on your case. As I said before LUD's are very uncertain. Some people get lots other like me very few.

Pay attention to Saras recommendation. The best thing to do is to track your case by SRC# (open a portfolio if you don't have one, and you'll receive emails too!)
Don't rely on LUD changes, although I understand can be very encouraging, but tracking your case with the online tool is the way to go.

Is it better to write an enquiry letter to USCIS TSC, with enclosed copy of all of our I-485 RD? A follow-up letter mentioning that our priority date are current?
