when you call to change address when should be the LUD? the day you called or a few days later?

I called to change my address 6/17/04 and spouse called 6/18/04.
I didn't check the portfolio untill this morning. Both my and spouse's LUD are 6/22/04.
I didn't receive any email although the email notice is on.

My question here is: is it possible that they updated my cases on 6/17 or 6/18 and then updated again on 6/22?

You DON'T get emails just when the LUD changes, only if the actual status message changes (approved, RFE, etc.) As it says on the USCIS case page, LUDs reflect 'internal case processing' and may not result in a status change.
