<B>IGATE </B> - Please Explain

Hello! All,
I have been reading a lot of messages regarding Igate and understand that there is a name change involve with the company but would like to know whether it is a merger, acquisition or spin off case. Does company tax ID change.

I have a spin-off case where new company retains all employees and assumes responsibility so trying to see whether I am in the same category or not.

Mastech (public: MAST) --- 1:1 ---> IGate (holding company, public: IGTE)

employees of Mastech ----> employees of "operating" companies in most cases (Emplifi, eJiva, MASCOT, etc)

tax id for "operating" company is different

"operating" companies are 100% owned by IGate (in most cases)

PTI (form. ENS) was sold to Red Hat, still those people are getting GC\'s even w/o RFE (amended I-140 was filed)
