LPR re-entering U.S. at Detroit Border Crossing

I was just curious about anyone with a green card re-entering the U.S. from Canada in Detroit. I understand biometrics are now being collected and was wondering how that works at the border. Do they pull green card holders into secondary inspection or is it done in your vehicle at the booth?
