My DAd is an green card holder entering USA after 11 months? Will IO revoke Green card at POE. Due to medical issues he was out so long.From past 4 years he is traveling out every year using re entry permit.This is he didn't take permit as he thought he will be back within 6 months.

I am a permanent resident and planning to apply citizenship. If my father abandon green card at USA consulate voluntarily. How easy it is if I petition him by filing I 130 for his second green card after I became citizen.

How much time has he spent outside the US in the past 4 years? If this latest trip is his only long trip, he'll be less likely to have a problem than if he's been spending the majority of every year outside the US.

I hope he's not entering the US with a return ticket that ends up outside the US. And he should bring those medical records with him to support his claim that he was abroad for so long because of medical treatment.

If you have all the key documents (particularly his birth certificate, your birth certificate with his name as the father, his marriage certificate if he married your mother), he can get the green card in 6-12 months.
