Louisville early finger printing

Hi,

Anyone has any experience at Louisville office? I am planning on walking in, my appt was given at NY office by mistake. Any thoughts and experience are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I had my fingerprinting done in Louisville a couple of weeks ago. I suspect if you walked in and told them that there is an error they may allow you to fingerprint there.
The people there seemed extremely friendly and were willing to move my appoint around since I could not make it at the given time.
The place also was not at all crowded. Go first thing in the AM. Like at 8 AM. They will take you in quite easily, I think.
Good Luck.

Thanks a bunch for your response. Good to know, I will certainly try. Have they asked you or spouse anything other than identifications and notices?

Thanks

Nothing at all.
The whole thing took literally 5 minutes. One of the speediest things to happen in this whole GC/Citizenship process!

Thanks again, I hate to bug with more questions... did you see any notice boards stating we can't come in and give prints w/o infopass appointment. I believe there is such a board where PP stamping is done, just wondering if these two are the same offices or not.

do you have any tips for me? just follow the address/directions on the website? I live near shelbyville road and hurstbourne junction.

Hi!

I am not exactly sure what an Infopass is. But I do not recall seeing any signs anywhere that said you had to have one for fingerprinting.

The place where the fingerprinting happens is probably not the regular INS office. This is not a place where I have gone to in the past. This is on 6th and Broadway (Court house building). The room is in the basement (Suite 220, I think).

I am pretty confident you will not have any issues there. The people seemed generally quite nice and if you already have a fingerprint notice for a different location, they should just be able to take you in.

Good luck.

Hey,

I went up there today. They don't seem to be busy, there is a sign outside saying folks with appointment have priority over the ones that walk in, but one of the employees there said they welcome walkins on only Wednesday, so its best that I go there on that day....

Thanks a bunch for your responses.

Louisville, KY question

I received my FP notice for Louisville and wanted to find out if I should schedule earlier. June 29th is when they scheduled me. Any recommendations? Should I call somewhere? Thanks, Ellada

I think you should try walking in on early morning wednesdays, they take finger prints only on wed. Tell them you have an appt for a later day, they should let you do it. Otherwise call the 800 number notice and reschedule it.

Staff was courteous, there is parking right infront of the courthouse for $2.50 ( for the whole day ).

Thanks
- Sairam
