Lottery notifications 2007: over or still possible?

Hi all,

Every day when I come home I pray that the fateful letter from the lottery is in my mailbox. Looking at this website has been helpful in seeing that letters are being sent out right now. Can anyone tell me if they are still sending letters out? On the government website it states that notifications go out May to July. Does that mean we (the ones who haven't won so far) can still hope? Also, my scanned picture was accepted when I applied for the lottery, but I am still wondering if I disqualified because it was two years old? Would anyone know?

I received my letter last year on July 31st. The picture was from digital camera and also not very new, but how can anyone tell?

So you do still have a chance, good luck
 
Besides, your picture hasn't been looked at yet! No one looks at the picture when sending notification letter based on random drawing.

An immigration officer that did my interview and was really nice, called me and said that it is cleared. He said he was checking on it every couple days. Next day i went to INS and got I-551 stamp in my passport and today the plastic card arrived. So I guess, my process is over!

You still have a chance as last year they kept sending notifications till the end of June.
