No alternative whatsoever. You can apply for it. You may not get the original but a copy and have it certified.

There's an alternative but not sure if it works but still worth giving it a try
1. Visit any WASSCE head Office near to the school where you took WASSCE Examination
2. Inform officials that you lost WAEC Certificate and want and want to apply for attestation of result.
3. Give them the police report confirming that you lost certificate along with passport and affidavit for WASSCE Attestation of result.
4. Pay the required amount for new certificate along with address details.
