Lost track

I am applying for citizenship now, but my problem is I have lost track how many times and how many days I have travelled to Canada (I lived in Seattle at that time). I went there several times but when I look back at my passport now, it won't give me a clear idea the exact time. Could I just leave the column blank and write on seperate sheet that I have lost track of my trip to Canada? They have never been a long trip anyway (always less than a week for vacation).

Have you experienced the same thing? Any suggestion? Please.

Thank you!

You don't need to list trips of under 24 hours.

Don't be overly vague with listing your trips. For trips over 24 hours, you'll need to spend some time to dig through your memory, friends' and relatives' memories, old emails, pictures, old credit card bills and employment records (you should be able to obtain vacation records from your current employer) to retrieve the dates to the best of your ability.

Then in the N-400 section where it asks for your travel history, write "See attached sheet", don't just leave it blank. On that sheet, list the specific trip details where you have the information, and for each year write a sentence that gives an approximation of the other trips. For example:

2011
November 22 - November 28 Canada
August 20 - August 27 Japan
April 3 - April 5 Canada
There were between 3 and 5 additional trips to Canada of less than 1 week each.

2010
July 3 - July 10 Canada
January 1 - January 11 Bahamas
Plus approximately 7 to 10 unspecified trips to Canada of less than 1 week each.

> Jackolantern ... Thanks!

I will also try to call Canada consulate if they can help me looking at that based on my Passport no. ... well a loong shot but worth trying :)

For trips where you know the month but don't know the exact dates, you can write something like:

Feb 2009 Canada approx. 5 days

I wonder what will hapen if anapplicant write down appoximatly this and that and these appromimates
add to to exactly half of total permanent residency duration. In such case will USCIS argue they are not sure
if more than half of time are in USA or not

If those approximations were close to a total of 30 months or included a trip of approximately 6 months, it would likely result in denial or at least a delay until more precise information could be obtained. But I get the impression that the OP has traveled for less than 2 months total per year, maybe even less than 1 month per year, and thus would not be in any danger of approaching the limits for continuous residence or physical presence.
