Hi,
I am a non-immigrant alien in US on L1B Visa for one year. I have lost my passport here. Can anybody help me out by telling me what are my options now?
1) As i understand i need to file for duplicate passport with indian consulate and report the loss of Visa to US consulate in india where my L1B was stamped. Is that all, or do i need to take care of anything else?
2) I have original I-94 and copies of Visa pages. By any chance, will i be able to apply for my driver's license?
3) Will this affect future stamping or extension?
Any info, links regarding this are much appreciated.
