Hi all..Need some urgent advice asap..
I am on F1 status.Lost my passport
and got a new one in Dec 05.My lost passport contains a student visa which expires in july 2006.Now I dont have a visa on my passport at all.
I am about to graduate in this May.
1) Can I apply for OPT without a visa?
2) Can I apply for H1 and get one without a F1 visa?(under master's quota)
3) Should I go to India before july and get my old visa stamped again on it inorder to avoid confusion?
4) Can I go to canada and get one?
As some ppl adviced, I went to my international office but they are not of much help. Very few lost passport cases...
If anybody has any idea about this kind of situation..PLEASE input ur ideas,
