My girlfriend is from the Bahamas and recently lost all her docs up here (passport, F-1 visa, i-20, i-94). She just got back her passport and i-20 but was told to get another f-1 visa in the bahamas she would have to go there and it would take 2 weeks.
We're planning a trip outside the country to my country where I'm getting my H1-B visa put into my passport. I was wondering if she could get her f-1 put back into her passport there or can she get it while we're still in the US? Its not a new visa and she has copies of the old one and is still in status.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information please let me know.
