I sent the n400 application last year and my passport was lost few months after that. I did get a new passport 2 weeks ago and my interview is tomorrow. I didn't have to file a police report because my counsulate told me it wasn't necesary.
Do I need to show them my new passport, my lost passport had the travel dates. Anyways I've been a US resident for 24 years and on the last 5 years before I send the n400 I was out of the country for 7 months total (3 different trips). Is this matter to be concerned about, any feedback will be appreciated thanks in advance

My interview officer actually checked my passport to see if I travelled recently. But it is upto interview officer. If it is lost it is lost. What can anybody do about it ? Anyway you take oath and swear that you give accurate info, that should be enough.

Wonder what happened to this case? Hope those A**** believed him and did not delay his approval...

Wish you all the best bud. From my knowledge, the reason they ask you to bring the passport is to check your travel dates. I wish you all the best and hope that it doesn't create any issues for you. Let us know the outcome.
